Join E-ppl Ltd as a Mechanic on a critical fleet maintenance project at Donnington, working with a skilled team to ensure operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

You will perform mechanical inspections, routine servicing, and repairs, with on-site tools provided. This 6-month contract offers weekly pay and a Friday finish schedule.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Proven mechanic experience in Fleet, Commercial, or ex-military background preferred.
• BPSS security clearance eligible; fully sponsored by E-ppl.

Responsabilités

• Perform mechanical inspections, servicing, and repairs across fleet platforms.
• Complete rectification work ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Execute fleet upgrades, reworks, and resolve defects identified during quality checks.
• Maintain adherence to site Health & Safety guidelines.

£17.00/hr Base Rate + £5.00/hr Living Allowance (£22.00/hr Total) | Paid Weekly

Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30 | Fri 07:30–13:00 (Early Friday Finish!)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical inspections, routine servicing, and repairs across designated fleet platforms.
• Complete rectification work ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Execute fleet upgrades, reworks, and resolve defects identified during quality examinations.
• Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety guidelines.

Location & Commute

Situated conveniently in Donnington (Telford) with quick access via the M54, A442, and A5.

• Local Commuters: Easily accessible from Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Stafford, and the wider Shropshire/West Midlands area.

To be considered for this role, candidates must provide proof of the following:

• Qualifications: Valid proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent) Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience: Proven background as a Mechanic (Fleet, Commercial, or Ex-Forces/Military vehicle background strongly preferred).
• Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance (fully sponsored, managed, and paid for by E-ppl).
