Job summary

E-ppl Ltd in Ashchurch, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire is seeking a Mechanic on a 6-month Outside IR35 contract to support critical fleet maintenance. You will help ensure operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance across Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

The role offers £17.00 per hour base plus £5.00 per hour living allowance (£22.00 total) with weekly pay, overtime availability, and all tools and equipment supplied on-site.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Proven background as a Mechanic (Fleet, Commercial, or Ex-Forces/Military background strongly preferred)
• Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance (sponsored by E-ppl)

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections, routine servicing, and repairs across designated fleet platforms.
• Complete rectification work ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Execute fleet upgrades, reworks, and resolve defects identified during quality examinations.
• Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety guidelines.

Pay: £17.00/hr Base Rate + £5.00/hr Living Allowance (£22.00/hr Total) | Paid Weekly

Contract: 6-Month Contract (High Potential for Extension)

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Shift: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30 | Fri 07:30–13:00 (Early Friday Finish!)

To be considered for this role, candidates must provide proof of the following:

• Qualifications: Valid proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent) Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience: Proven background as a Mechanic (Fleet, Commercial, or Ex-Forces/Military vehicle background strongly preferred).
• Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance (fully sponsored, managed, and paid for by E-ppl).
