Job summary

Join E-ppl Ltd on a critical fleet maintenance project in Ashchurch, working alongside a skilled, supportive team to ensure the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

You will play a pivotal role in diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and complex repairs, with a focus on high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols. The position offers an Outside IR35 contract and weekly pay, with on-site support and tools supplied.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair required.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician (fleet or ex-forces background preferred).
• BPSS security clearance eligibility (sponsored by employer).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and repairs on designated fleet platforms.
• Complete rectification maintenance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Execute fleet upgrades, reworks, and resolve defects identified during quality examinations.
• Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety guidelines.

Vehicle Technician | Outside IR35 Contract

Location: Ashchurch, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

Pay: £17.00/hr Base Rate + £5.00/hr Living Allowance (£22.00/hr Total) | Paid Weekly

Contract: 6-Month Contract (High Potential for Extension)

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Shift: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30 | Fri 07:30–13:00 (Early Friday Finish!)

Situated conveniently in Ashchurch (Tewkesbury) with immediate access to the M5 (Junction 9) and A46.

• Local Commuters: Easily accessible from Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester, Evesham, Redditch, and the wider Gloucestershire/Worcestershire area.

To be considered for this role, candidates must provide proof of the following:

• Qualifications: Valid proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent) Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience: Proven background as a Vehicle Technician (Fleet, Commercial, or Ex-Forces/Military vehicle background strongly preferred).
• Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance (fully sponsored, managed, and paid for by E-ppl).
