Location: Plymouth (In-Person) Contract: Temporary to Permanent Pay: 24- 28 per hour Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about empowering adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their goals in maths? Prospero Teaching are looking for a committed and approachable Maths Skills Instructor to support learners aged 16+ in developing their numeracy skills up to Functional Skills Level 3.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, accessible maths sessions tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support learners working towards Functional Skills qualifications (Entry Level to Level 3)
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that builds confidence and independence
  • Track learner progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
What You'll Need
  • Minimum A Level in Maths (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with SEND learners, particularly adults (16+)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient, flexible, and learner-centred approach
  • QTS not required - we welcome applicants from a range of educational or support backgrounds
