Job summary

The Graduate Network is seeking a Maths Academic Coach to support KS3 and KS4 students at a Ward of Selly Oak school. You'll work with the maths department to deliver focused academic support, lead small group interventions, and provide one-to-one help to pupils needing extra practice.

You should hold a maths-related degree and be comfortable explaining ideas clearly to young learners. DBS clearance is required or must be obtainable; prior tutoring or mentoring experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in mathematics or a related subject is required.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Strong communication and clear explanation of concepts are essential.
• Experience tutoring, mentoring, or working with pupils is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work with maths department to provide tailored academic support to KS3 and KS4.
• Lead small group interventions and provide one-to-one support.
• Assist with lesson delivery and exam preparation.
• Help students build confidence and understanding of key maths concepts.
