Job summary

The Graduate Network is seeking a Maths Academic Coach to join a secondary school in the Ward of Selly Oak. You will support KS3 and KS4 students through targeted 1:1 and small‑group maths interventions, helping pupils build confidence and improve understanding of key concepts.

You will assist with lesson delivery and exam preparation, contributing to a positive maths department culture and student attainment. The role runs from now until July 2027.

Qualifications

• Degree in mathematics or related subject.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Experience tutoring, mentoring or working with pupils is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored academic support to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Lead small group interventions and provide 1:1 support for pupils needing extra help.
• Assist with lesson delivery and exam preparation to raise attainment and build confidence.
