Job summary

The Graduate Network is seeking a KS1 Academic Coach for an Outstanding primary school in Wolverhampton. You will support Year 1 and Year 2 pupils through small-group interventions, focusing on literacy, numeracy and early learning, and work with class teachers to build confidence and lasting progress.

Qualifications

• Degree in any subject with a calm, nurturing approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS certificate held or willing to obtain one.
• Experience in a primary school, nursery, or role with children is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support Year 1 and Year 2 pupils through small-group interventions in literacy and numeracy.
• Assist in preparing learning materials and foster a positive classroom atmosphere.
