The Graduate Network is seeking a Maths Academic Coach to support KS3 and KS4 students at a Ward of Selly Oak school. You'll work with the maths department to deliver focused academic support, lead small group interventions, and provide one-to-one help to pupils needing extra practice.
You should hold a maths-related degree and be comfortable explaining ideas clearly to young learners. DBS clearance is required or must be obtainable; prior tutoring or mentoring experience is advantageous.

1:1 and small group support across Maths KS3 & KS4
As a Maths Academic Coach, you'll work alongside the maths department to provide tailored academic support to students in Key Stage 3 and 4. You'll lead small group interventions, provide one-to-one support for pupils who need extra help, and assist with lesson delivery and exam preparation. Your input will help students build confidence and improve their understanding of key mathematical concepts.
You should hold a degree in mathematics or a related subject. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain ideas clearly are essential. You'll need to be confident working with young people and committed to supporting their academic development. Any experience in tutoring, mentoring, or working with pupils will be an advantage.
