Job summary

The Graduate Network is seeking a Science Academic Coach to support KS3 and KS4 students across biology, chemistry and physics. You will lead small group sessions, provide one-to-one academic support, and help prepare students for assessments and exams.

This role runs from an immediate start to July 2027 in a Good-rated Edgbaston secondary school, offering daily rate of £80-£90 and an opportunity to gain classroom experience ahead of teacher training.

Qualifications

• Degree in science subject (2:2 or above) and strong communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with children through tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead small group sessions and one-to-one academic support in science.
• Assist in preparing students for assessments and exams.
• Support pupils across KS3 and KS4 to boost confidence and attainment.
