Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Maths Academic Coach for a Birmingham school. The role is full-time and temporary, immediate start, until July 2027, paying £85–£100 per day.

You will deliver targeted support to KS3 and KS4 pupils through small-group interventions and one-to-one tuition, helping raise attainment within the maths department. The ideal candidate will hold a maths-related degree and possess clear communication skills, with DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Degree in mathematics or a related subject.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Experience tutoring, mentoring, or working with pupils is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small group and 1:1 maths support for KS3/KS4.
• Assist with lesson delivery and exam preparation.
• Help raise attainment in mathematics.
