Job summary

The Graduate Network is seeking a Science Academic Coach to support pupils across KS3 and KS4 in science. You will lead small group sessions, offer one-to-one support, and help prepare students for assessments. Immediate start until July 2027.

Applicants should hold a science degree, have strong communication skills, and be enthusiastic about education. DBS clearance is required or willing to obtain. This is a school-based role in Edgbaston, Birmingham.

Qualifications

• Degree in science subject (2:2 or above).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Interest in education and teaching.
• Experience with children (tutoring/mentoring/volunteering) desirable but not required.
