Job description

A lovely family based in Fulham is seeking an experienced Spanish- and English-speaking Maternity Nurse to support them as they welcome their first baby around the 20th of May. This is a 6-week fixed-term booking, and the family is looking for someone highly knowledgeable, professional, and ideally qualified in maternity nursing. A Spanish-speaker is required.

The role will involve providing full maternity support on a 24/6 basis, offering guidance and reassurance during the newborn phase. Feeding plans are also yet to be finalised, so the nurse should be confident supporting both breastfeeding and bottle-feeding if needed. A valid first-aid qualification is a must.

Working hours: 24/6

Duties include:

  • Full maternity nurse duties
  • Postnatal support for mum, including recovery and wellbeing
  • Establishing feeding routines (breast or bottle)
  • Assisting with newborn care, including settling and sleep routines
  • Bathing, changing, and soothing the baby
  • Providing guidance and education to first-time parents
  • Ensuring a calm, supportive environment for the family

This will be a 6-week booking which will start on the 20th of May 2026.
