Job summary

ERSG Ltd in Lincoln is recruiting a Material Resource Planning (MRP) Controller to ensure materials and components are available to support manufacturing. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate SAP-based material flow, manage supplier delivery performance and maintain accurate planning data.

Working in a hybrid full-time role, you will monitor inventory, respond to demand changes, and drive improvements in capacity, costs and on-time delivery across the supply chain while collaborating closely

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, planning, or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of MRP, production planning and inventory control.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong communication and supplier management skills.
• Ability to solve problems and manage supply chain risks.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain material requirements plans to support production schedules.

• Maintain accurate planning data within SAP and ensure supplier delivery commitments are reflected correctly.
• Monitor and control inventory levels across the supply chain.

• Coordinate and resolve material shortages, supply issues and recovery plans.
• Lead supplier operational reviews and drive improvements in quality, cost and delivery performance.
• Assess supplier load and capacity constraints that may impact future delivery requirements.

We're recruiting for a Material Resource Planning (MRP) Controller. This role is responsible for ensuring materials and components are available to support manufacturing requirements through effective planning, supplier management, inventory control and SAP-based material scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain material requirements plans to support production schedules.
• Respond to changes in demand and assess supply chain implications to meet business requirements.
• Maintain accurate planning data within SAP and ensure supplier delivery commitments are reflected correctly.
• Monitor and control inventory levels across the supply chain.
• Manage supplier schedules, delivery performance and exception messages to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate and resolve material shortages, supply issues and recovery plans.
• Lead supplier operational reviews and drive improvements in quality, cost and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Experience within Supply Chain, Material Planning, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics or Engineering environments.
• Working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), production planning and inventory control processes.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and supplier relationship skills.
• Ability to proactively solve problems and manage supply chain risks.

Knowledge of capacity planning and supplier performance management is desirable.
