Job summary

Belcan in Lincoln is seeking a Material Resource Planning Controller to create and communicate detailed delivery plans for component orders across the supply chain.

You will manage supplier performance, inventory planning, capacity constraints, and delivery schedules while proactively mitigating supply chain risks, using SAP to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain or logistics.
• Strong understanding of production planning and material control processes.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage material planning activities to support production schedules and customer commitments.
• Analyse demand changes and provide recommendations on their impact to delivery plans.
• Maintain MRP planning data, ensuring accurate demand propagation throughout the supply chain.
• Plan and control inventory levels across the supply chain to optimise stock availability.
• Manage supplier delivery schedules and ensure commitment accuracy within SAP.
• Lead operational relationships with suppliers, driving delivery performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct supplier business reviews focused on Quality, Cost, and Delivery performance.

What We're Looking For

• Experience within Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Logistics
• Strong understanding of production planning and material control processes
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
• Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain scheduling, and supplier management
