Job summary

Pontoon is recruiting the Material Resource Planning Controller (MRPC) for a hybrid role in Lincoln. The position focuses on creating detailed delivery plans, managing stock levels and analysing demand changes to support purchasing decisions.

It requires strong planning skills and ERP experience, particularly SAP. The role offers a 12-month initial contract, flexible hours with core hours, and a competitive hourly rate depending on PAYE or Umbrella arrangements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and communicate detailed delivery plans for part orders within the supply chain.
• Analyse demand changes and provide insights to leadership regarding customer requirements.
• Manage stock levels across the supply chain and ensure timely utilisation.
• Maintain supplier delivery commitments in SAP and address inquiries effectively.
• Lead operational relationships with suppliers and coordinate improvements in planning, inventory and delivery.
• Conduct business reviews with suppliers to ensure alignment with quality, cost and delivery expectations.

Job Title: Material Resource Planning Controller (MRPC)

Location: Teal Park, Lincoln (Hybrid: minimum 3 days in office)

Contract Duration: 12 month initial contract

Hourly Rate: £18.00 - £24.00/hr PAYE. Also available £24.00 - £32.00/hr Umbrella

Start Date: ASAP but 4 week notice is fine

Working Pattern: Full Time (Flexible hours with core hours between 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM)

• Maintain accurate supplier delivery commitments in SAP and address inquiries effectively.
• Lead operational relationships with suppliers, coordinating improvements in planning, inventory, and delivery.
• Conduct business reviews with suppliers to ensure alignment with quality, cost, and delivery expectations.

Key Requirements

• Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, or Logistics in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and relevant IT systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively and drive continuous improvement.
