Job summary

BHG Marine Ltd is seeking an experienced Service Manager to organise and oversee service and production of small craft and outboards. The role suits someone with a marine, technical and management background, located at our site on the Lymington River.

The successful candidate will lead department staff, manage bookings and scheduling, and ensure high standards of customer service, safety and profitability across all service activities.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.
• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong management and organisational abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Diagnostics and problem solving capabilities.
• Marine technical background.
• Experience with small craft fitting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee service and production of small craft and outboards.
• Manage job bookings, scheduling, and production workflows.
• Estimate, invoice and maintain service records.
• Maintain high customer relationship standards and service quality.
• Lead and manage department staff and activities.
• Ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.
• Act as the warranty and aftersales liaison.
