Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience servicing and commissioning fire detection systems.
  • Ability to interpret client technical specifications.
  • Full UK driving license required.
  • Willingness to work offshore and overseas.

Responsibilities

  • Perform planned and reactive servicing of marine fire detection and alarm systems.
  • Lead or support commissioning of new and upgraded systems on vessels.
  • Provide technical guidance to vessel crews and operators.

Skills

Electrical Engineering experience
Familiarity with major brands (Autronica, Tyco, Siemens, Consilium, Kidde)
Hands-on experience with graphics systems
Knowledge of SOLAS, IMO, and marine safety regulations

Education

Degree or qualification in Electrical/Electronic or Control & Instrumentation Engineering

Tools

Graphics systems and HMI interfaces
