About The Role

Are you looking to play a practical, hands-on role in a company at the forefront of consumer health and hygiene? The Manufacturing Technician role is critical in our operations environment. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will own a packing line and lead a small team (typically 3 Operators). You should have basic to good engineering knowledge to maximize line efficiency and be accountable for delivering key performance indicators in your operational area.

Your responsibilities include:

• Handling equipment, assembling products, and ensuring seamless production flow.
• Upholding high standards of product quality.
• Prioritizing safety and following guidelines.
• Supporting machinery maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborating with team members to meet production goals.

The experience we're looking for includes:

• Time served Engineering
• Trainer to Mechanical and/or Electrical craft level
• NVQ level 3 or above or equivalent
• Experience with high-speed packing equipment in FMCG, food, chemical, or pharmaceutical environments
• Understanding and adherence to manufacturing processes and safety protocols
• Ability to work actively, including standing for long periods and managing moderate weights
• Detail-oriented, reliable, proactive, and goal-driven
