Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a site-based HR Manager to lead the end-to-end HR function across a multi-site manufacturing operation. You will partner with senior leadership and drive improvements across the employee lifecycle.

The role requires delivering the people strategy, managing complex employee relations, coaching managers, supporting recruitment and development, and ensuring compliance with UK employment law while maintaining a strong on-site presence.

Qualifications

• Extensive HR leadership experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Proven ability to handle complex employee relations issues.
• Track record of improving HR processes and people practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and influence with senior leaders.
• Experience leading organisational change and workforce engagement.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and best practices.
• Hands-on, visible leadership with site presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the people strategy across multiple sites.
• Advise senior operational leaders as a trusted business partner.
• Manage complex employee relations matters with expert guidance.
• Review and improve HR policies, processes and ways of working.
• Coach line managers to strengthen leadership capability.
• Support recruitment, succession planning and development initiatives.
• Drive engagement, retention and culture improvement programmes.
• Support organisational change and transformation projects.
• Develop the capability of the wider HR team.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice.
