Job summary

Back TO Work is seeking an IT Technician to support IT infrastructure across production, warehouse and office environments in North Yorkshire. You will provide first-line support, diagnose issues, and assist with deployments and system upgrades.

The role offers exposure to manufacturing environments, with opportunities to develop IT skills and knowledge of OT systems. Training will be provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to users across the business.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Assist with user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications and cloud-based services.
• Monitor IT systems and report potential issues to senior IT staff.
• Assist with software deployments, updates, and patch management.
• Maintain documentation of IT assets, tickets, and procedures.
• Support cyber security initiatives and adhere to company policies.
• Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Provide support for manufacturing and OT systems when required.
