Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for office and factory users, resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues quickly to ensure continuous business operations.
• Log, track and manage all incoming technical issues using the IT service-management system, escalating complex problems when necessary.
• Set up, configure and maintain vital workplace hardware including laptops, desktops, tablets, printers and scanners.
• Manage the complete IT onboarding and offboarding process for joiners, movers and leavers, including full equipment setup and access configuration.
• Monitor endpoint security, assist with basic network troubleshooting and provide essential support for Microsoft 365 applications and core business systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all company IT assets.

This hands‑on role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of day‑to‑day IT systems across both office and production environments. This role offers a negotiable salary depending on experience.

The role of an IT Support Technician:

• Proven ability to diagnose basic technical issues and a structured approach to problem‑solving in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the unique ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical staff.
• Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and recognise exactly when to upscale a problem.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
