Job summary

Interface Recruitment is seeking a pragmatic IT Support Engineer for a manufacturing group in the North West. The role covers 2nd line IT support across multiple sites, maintaining networks, servers, and ERP EFACS, with a focus on reliability and security.

You will work with MSPs and internal teams, implement backups, licensing controls, and assist with SharePoint and related applications. A strong communicator who can adapt to technology-agnostic challenges will thrive.

Qualifications

• 2nd line IT support experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong desktop, network and server skills.
• Ability to work with external IT providers and vendors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT networks and infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Monitor KPI results and take corrective actions when needed.
• Support ERP EFACS and SharePoint applications.
• Install and support hardware and peripherals.
• Coordinate with MSPs and external providers.
• Ensure software licensing and compliance.
• Maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.
