Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking an experienced 2nd Line IT Engineer in Nottingham to provide hands-on and remote IT support across manufacturing sites. You will manage escalated incidents, own site infrastructure, and collaborate with 2nd/3rd line teams on root causes and improvements.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in 2nd line IT, strong Microsoft 365 and networking skills, and a valid UK driving licence for occasional travel between sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in 2nd line IT support or IT engineer role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, desktops/laptops, printers, networking and VPNs.
• Excellent troubleshooting, fault-finding and proactive customer-focused support.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across incident resolution and projects.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site IT point of contact for Nottingham, providing hands-on and remote support.
• Manage and resolve escalated incidents from the Service Desk, ensuring SLA targets are met.
• Take ownership of site IT infrastructure, equipment and asset management.
• Work with 2nd and 3rd Line teams to troubleshoot, identify root causes and implement lasting solutions.
• Support IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the Group.
• Be part of the Out of Hours team, rotating as escalation point for calls.
