Job: Manufacturing Engineering Manager in DungannonOur client is recognised as a leading manufacturer of recycling equipment with customers througout the world and arecurrently recruitng a Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management of their on site Production Design Engineering team.Duties include

• Manage the day to day workload of the Production Design Engineering team
• Support current operations and look to establish better ways of working
• Attend daily, weekly, monthly operational meetings and deliver on commitments made
• Manage design projects and develop new products for the company recommendingappropriate timing for production to the market
• Manage projects through from concept, design, support build to installation
• Co-ordinate with the colleagues to support the sales team with technical specifications,site visits and technical advice throughout the process
• Produce project status reports and other information as required by the seniormanagement team to inform financial, sales and operational planning
• Check and approve drawings using design processes, procedures and checklists
• Resolve design quality issues as they arise, managing the design and provide detailedsolutions

Criteria to include

• 10 years Design experience gained in a manufacturing environment/quarry and recycling equipment

Or

• Educated to degree level in an Engineering discipline with 6 years Design experience gained in a manufacturing environment/quarry and recycling equipment

And

• Product Development experience;
• Experience of new product introduction, reworking design changes and upgrades through to production
• Experience of managing a team.
