Job summary

A leading aerospace engineering company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to enhance their operations in Cheltenham. The role involves interpreting engineering drawings, modifying build routings, and improving formboards in compliance with company standards. Our client is a leading aerospace engineering company specializing in jet engines, avionics, and integrated systems for both military and commercial aircraft. They operate major UK facilities, including maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) site

Essential Responsibilities
  • Improve Formbards to comply with drawings and build process, Author and modify build routings for power products
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Electrical, or related engineering field (or equivalent experience) Experience in a manufacturing or shop-floor support role, ideally in aerospace or other regulated industry. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications. Experience creating or updating technical work instructions; familiarity with CAD tools for layouts. Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
