Our much‑loved products are manufactured in‑house and an exciting opportunity has arisen in our modern manufacturing site.

Purpose of the Operations Compliance role is to ensure daily compliance of manufacturing operations and adherence to all GMP and quality checks required within the manufacturing areas. Your role is to verify that all compliance and quality control activities are correctly executed. This is an oversight role – you ensure the checks are done, but you do not perform the manufacturing tasks yourself. The role will be site‑based Monday to Friday – 10pm to 6:30am. We are offering between £25,000 – £27,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Material Verification: Confirm materials and components before line acceptance, ensuring that part number, LOT, expiry date and quantity precisely match the allocated stock in the system.
  • Equipment Readiness: Ensure all cleandown activities have been completed and line clearance is adequately followed, including visual checks, adherence to GMP and hygiene standards.
  • In‑Process Control (IPC):
    • Product Details: Manufacturing Order LOT, finished product LOT number and finished product expiry date.
    • Physical Checks: Density determination, weight checks and capping torque.
    • Packaging Quality: Heat shrink sleeve quality (applied and melted), labelling (tolerance and quality), cartoning and packing quality and crimp seal quality.
  • GMP Enforcement: Ensure strict adherence to GMP activities by all personnel. Raise any suspected non‑conformance to a Team Leader and initiate a Deviation report where necessary.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing industry environment.
  • Previous experience in quality control/compliance.
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a small team.

Candidate must complete a pre‑employment medical questionnaire.
