We have a newly created opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join an industry specialist on a new 5‑year framework in the region. Our client, who holds framework status for AMP8 in the Water sector with Welsh Water, requires a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead a commercial team on large‑scale capital programme of works.

As Managing Quantity Surveyor you will:

• Have worked for Tier One contractors on civil engineering projects.
• Be responsible for developing a busy commercial team, supporting all members with their own development and progression.
• Responsible for all pre and post contract duties.
• Draft and negotiate NEC forms of contract.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks.

Our client requires a Managing Quantity Surveyor with:

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar.
• Experience of working for a tier one Civil Engineering contractor.
• A history of commercially managing large‑scale, complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A thorough understanding of NEC form of contracts.
