We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: Manager – Marketing Culture Communications & Governance

We are seeking a Marketing Culture Communications & Governance professional to support our global marketing efforts within Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB).

This role focuses on building a thriving CIB Marketing community and embedding a high performing culture, and ensuring marketing activities comply with risk management standards and support the governance framework for marketing.

This role will support CIB Marketing in aligning marketing efforts with the banks global priorities, building a high‑performing CIB Marketing team, ensuring compliance with governance standards and effective risk management. Its ideal for a marketing professional who excels in building communities in a dynamic and energetic fashion, implementing governance frameworks and fostering cross‑functional collaboration to achieve measurable business impact.

In this role you will:
  • Build and establish a thriving community across the CIB Marketing team using methods such as All‑Hands meetings, Teams channels, newsletters, etc., and propose creative approaches to building a high‑performing team across CIB Marketing.
  • Design and implement a rhythm of business for key leadership meetings and interactions while establishing an internal communications framework and calendar (what/when/where/who), including executive‑ready packs and templates; coach leaders on clear data‑backed storytelling.
  • Assist in identifying and assessing risks associated with marketing activities, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements while supporting the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies for marketing initiatives.
  • Help monitor and report on marketing risk exposure, providing insights to senior leadership.
  • Oversee Management Self‑Identified Issues (MSIIs) and action plans while supporting governance processes across marketing planning and execution, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
  • Proven experience in marketing risk management or governance roles within a financial services or B2B environment, familiarity with risk assessment and compliance reporting, and experience in designing, establishing, and running community events and approaches (e.g. All‑Hands meetings, Teams channels, newsletters, etc.) including with senior management teams.
  • Understanding of the institutional banking landscape and related product lines while possessing strong analytical skills and knowledge of risk management KPIs and compliance metrics.
  • Experience in complex organisations and collaboration across business and marketing leadership.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to present insights to stakeholders, exemplary attention to detail and the ability to identify potential risks early.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field preferred.
