Job summary

A growing property and investment group in Trafford is seeking a proactive Management Accountant to support consolidated reporting across a portfolio of 30+ entities. The role involves producing monthly accounts, managing financial processes, and providing insights for strategic decision-making. Ideal candidates will be part qualified ACCA/CIMA and have solid management accounting experience, alongside advanced Excel and strong analytical skills. This position offers a competitive salary between £40k - £45k plus study support.

Qualifications

• Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA.
• Solid management accounting experience; property exposure helpful.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow).
• Deliver variance analysis and performance commentary.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Manage payroll, VAT, bank recs, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with board reporting and year-end requirements.
• Improve processes, controls and efficiency across finance.
• Ensure timely statutory and HMRC filings.

Management Accountant | Old Trafford | 5 days on site | £40k - £45k plus study

A growing property and investment group is looking for a proactive Management Accountant to support consolidated reporting across a portfolio of 30+ entities.

Working closely with the Finance Director, you will deliver accurate monthly accounts, strengthen financial processes, and provide insight that supports strategic decision‑making.

Responsibilities:

• Produce monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow)
• Deliver variance analysis and performance commentary
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
• Manage payroll, VAT, bank recs, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with board reporting and year‑end requirements
