Job summary

ABM UK is seeking a professional Security Officer to be the public face of the Security Team at Galleries Shopping Centre. This permanent, full-time role involves delivering high standards of security and customer service to visitors and tenants while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment across a 42-hour weekly schedule (4 on, 4 off).

Responsibilities

• Interact with visitors/tenants delivering first class customer focused service.
• Carry out regular patrols and be proactive.
• Identify opportunities to assist visitors and respond to needs.
• Safeguard site safety and provide a safe environment.
• Ensure incidents are managed per site policies and procedures.
• Liaise with site control room and brief/ support colleagues.
• Report unsecure areas to Control Room and act to resolve.
• Log non-conformances and emergencies with the control room.
• Deal with emergencies and keep the team informed.
• Maintain radio procedures and record events in the notebook.
