A leading manufacturing company in Oil & Gas seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Technician based in Hampshire. This permanent role offers a salary between £40,000 and £48,000, depending on experience. Qualifications

JOB - Maintenance Technician

LOCATION - Hampshire

TERM- Permanent

SALARY - £40,000 - £48,000, dependent on experience

My client is a manufacturer in the Oil & Gas industry. They are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team in Hampshire on a permanent basis.

Qualifications
  • Time Served Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in an Engineering discipline
  • Come from a Mechanical background
  • Knowledge of Electrical equipment and installations
  • Ideally be experienced working with plant equipment / machinery in Oil & Gas, Energy or related industries
  • Ideally be experienced in Maintenance and Process Operations
  • NEBOSH qualification would be beneficial
  • Able to work safely and methodically
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team
  • A flexible and proactive attitude towards work
Responsibilities
  • Working in a team to improve and maintain manufacturing machinery
  • Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment
  • PPM and breakdown avoidance
  • Ensuring documentation is maintained and Health & Safety standards are met
  • Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
  • Working with others and being an excellent team player
