Our RME Technicians are based on‑site, enabling rapid response to any machinery issues. You will conduct planned preventive maintenance on sites’ equipment to ensure safety and performance. As well, you will promptly investigate, find, and implement solutions to breakdowns, and suggest long‑term improvements. Working alongside senior colleagues, you will liaise with contractors when external expertise is required, and support the sites around the clock through day, early, late or night shifts.
Our RME team consists of technically minded, excellent team players guided by experienced leaders. We maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across Amazon’s global network of fulfilment centres, from automated packaging systems to general maintenance and key distribution equipment. We also manage building compliance and operated sites at maximum efficiency, with many opportunities for progression within the team and across Amazon. Everything we do focuses on reducing downtime so that customers receive their orders on time, often during early or late hours to minimise disruption.
