Job summary

Industrial Connected Talent is seeking a Business Development Manager to establish and grow a new Maintenance & SLA division. The role is UK-wide with home-based work for the first six months and national travel to customer sites thereafter.

The position focuses on developing planned maintenance, breakdown response and SLA solutions for automation and material handling environments, shaping the offering, securing pilot customers and building a scalable recurring-revenue model.

Qualifications

• Proven business development or commercial experience within technical service contracts.
• Experience selling or managing maintenance, field service or SLA contracts.
• Ability to develop service scopes, commercial models and delivery processes.
• Willingness to travel nationally after six months.

Responsibilities

• Develop the new service line in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Validate demand across end users, 3PLs, retailers, manufacturers, OEMs and system integrators.
• Build pricing models for call-outs, planned visits, retainers and service agreements.
• Secure pilot customers and translate requirements into clear commercial scopes.
• Develop a pipeline for recurring maintenance and national service contracts.
• Support service mobilisation, onboarding and operational processes.
• Define technician coverage, subcontractor strategy and response models.
• Report pipeline, recurring revenue, margin and service performance to senior management.
