Job summary

CV Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead a new service and maintenance revenue stream. The role is hybrid with one day in the office and involves meeting clients, site visits, and building long-term relationships across the UK and Europe.

You will target new clients, grow contracts, manage the sales process from initial contact to completion, and collaborate with engineering and service teams to tailor solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or business development within material handling, automation, engineering or related industries is preferred.
• Ability to identify opportunities, build pipeline and close deals.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target new clients and business opportunities.
• Develop and grow service and maintenance contracts.
• Generate leads and manage the sales process from initial contact through to completion.
• Arrange and conduct customer meetings and site visits.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand customer requirements and identify suitable solutions.
• Work closely with engineering, service and project teams.
• Support service coordination and project management when required.
• Develop existing accounts and identify further commercial opportunities.
• Take ownership of your sales pipeline and deliver targets.
