Job summary

Brokerswood Holiday Park is seeking a Maintenance & Hot Tub Maintenance Person to keep lodges and hot tubs at top safety and cleanliness levels in a woodland setting. This role involves hands-on tasks across maintenance, water chemistry checks, and coordination with teams to ensure high guest satisfaction.

One full-time and one part-time position are available, with 40 and 16 hours per week respectively, at £13.10 per hour in the UK. Immersive training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience or practical DIY ability.
• COSHH experience with commercial cleaning chemicals is desirable.
• General maintenance skills including plumbing and decorating.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hot tubs and lodges to high safety and cleanliness standards.
• Perform twice-daily water testing and routine deep cleaning.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to keep facilities in excellent condition.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks across the park (plumbing, decorating, repairs).
• Ensure guest accommodations are ready for arrival and compliant paperwork is completed.

What You’ll Do

As aMaintenance & Hot Tub Maintenance Person, you will:

• Work as part of the team across a range of lodges, ensuring all hot tubs are functioning correctly and maintained to a high standard
• Carry out twice-daily water chemistry testing, deep cleaning on changeover days, and address issues swiftly to minimise guest disruption
• Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure hot tubs and accommodation remain in excellent condition
• Carry out general maintenance tasks across the park, including basic plumbing, decorating, and repairs to lodges and facilities
• Ensure accommodation is maintained, checked, and ready for guest arrivals to a high standard
• Complete all compliance paperwork accurately and on time
• Maintain stock levels of chemicals, PPE, and relevant supplies
• Follow all health and safety procedures, ensuring safe working practices and correct use of PPE
• Support a five-star guest experience by resolving faults and maintaining operational excellence across both hot tubs and accommodation

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking adependable, proactive team memberwith:

• Previous hot tub maintenance or basic water testing experience (desirable)
• COSHH experience working with commercial cleaning chemicals
• Experience in general maintenance or practical DIY skills (e.g. basic plumbing, repairs, decorating)
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic
• Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in all weathers

Desirable

• Photometer usage, Pool Plant qualification, or PWTAG/BISHTA accreditation
