Job summary

Haulfryn Ltd. in Brokerswood is seeking a Maintenance & Hot Tub Maintenance Person to keep lodges, accommodation and hot tubs in top condition at Brokerswood Holiday Park. The role offers an hourly rate of £13.10 and involves working across a woodland setting with a friendly team.

The positions include one full-time (40 hours) and one part-time (16 hours), and a practical exam test is required. A permanent contract and opportunities for training are provided in a company with 90 years of family

Qualifications

• Previous hot tub maintenance or basic water testing experience.
• COSHH experience with cleaning chemicals.
• General maintenance or practical DIY skills (plumbing, repairs, decorating).
• Good communication and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in all weathers.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the team across lodges, ensuring hot tubs function correctly and are maintained to high standards.
• Carry out twice-daily water chemistry testing and deep cleaning on changeover days.
• Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance to keep accommodation in excellent condition.
• Perform general maintenance across the park including basic plumbing, decorating, and repairs.
• Ensure accommodation is ready for guest arrivals to a high standard.
• Complete compliance paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain stock levels of chemicals, PPE and supplies.
• Follow health and safety procedures and use of PPE.
• Help deliver a five-star guest experience by resolving faults and maintaining operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

As aMaintenance & Hot Tub Maintenance Person, you will:

• Work as part of the team across a range of lodges, ensuring all hot tubs are functioning correctly and maintained to a high standard
• Carry out twice-daily water chemistry testing, deep cleaning on changeover days, and address issues swiftly to minimise guest disruption
• Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure hot tubs and accommodation remain in excellent condition
• Carry out general maintenance tasks across the park, including basic plumbing, decorating, and repairs to lodges and facilities
• Ensure accommodation is maintained, checked, and ready for guest arrivals to a high standard
• Complete all compliance paperwork accurately and on time
• Maintain stock levels of chemicals, PPE, and relevant supplies
• Follow all health and safety procedures, ensuring safe working practices and correct use of PPE
• Support a five-star guest experience by resolving faults and maintaining operational excellence across both hot tubs and accommodation

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking adependable, proactive team memberwith:

• Previous hot tub maintenance or basic water testing experience (desirable)
• COSHH experience working with commercial cleaning chemicals
• Experience in general maintenance or practical DIY skills (e.g. basic plumbing, repairs, decorating)
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic
• Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in all weathers

Desirable:

• Photometer usage, Pool Plant qualification, or PWTAG/BISHTA accreditation
