Job summary

Finlake Holiday Park, part of Haulfryn, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance and Grounds Person to keep our outdoor spaces welcoming and safe. The role is full-time, permanent, 45 hours per week, on site, with a competitive salary of £30,654 per annum.

You will carry out grounds maintenance, basic repairs, and inspect hot tubs, while supporting team projects and maintaining a high standard of presentation across the park.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance, including mowing, hedge cutting, and landscaping.
• A valid full UK driving licence.
• Awareness of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
• Excellent customer service skills and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carry out grounds maintenance to high standards (mowing, trimming, hedging, weed spraying, gritting, gardening).
• Perform property maintenance tasks (repairs, plumbing, painting, decorating).
• Inspect and maintain hot tubs (cleaning, refilling, chemical checks).
• Identify and resolve maintenance issues across lodges and communal areas.
• Work within a team to maintain appearance and support development projects.
• Follow Health & Safety policies to ensure a safe environment.

What You’ll Do

As aMaintenance and Grounds Person, you will:

• Carry out grounds maintenanceto the highest standards, including mowing, trimming, hedge cutting, weed spraying, gritting, and general gardening
• Complete property maintenance tasks, including basic repairs, plumbing, painting, and decorating to keep the park and its facilities in excellent condition
• Inspect and maintain hot tubs, ensuring they are cleaned, refilled, and chemicals are checked daily
• Identify and proactively resolve maintenance issuesacross lodges and communal areas to uphold high presentation standards
• Work within a teamto maintain the park’s appearance and functionality, supporting development projects as needed
• Follow Health & Safety policies and proceduresto ensure a safe working environment for staff, guests, and owners

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking anenthusiastic, hands-on team playerwho enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in their work. Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience in grounds maintenance, including mowing, hedge cutting, and general landscaping
• Apractical approachto property maintenance, with skills in basic repairs and upkeep
• A valid full UK driving licence
• Awareness ofHealth & Safety regulationsand a commitment to working safely
• Excellentcustomer service skillswith a friendly and proactive attitude
• Experience with grounds maintenance equipmentis beneficial (spraying or tree work qualifications are a plus, but training will be provided if needed)
