Qualifications

• Proven manufacturing/industrial experience.

• Knowledge of PUWER highly desirable.

Maintenance Engineer

Goole

£54,000 per annum (inclusive of basic, shift & disturbance allowance) + overtime + excellent benefits

Rotating Shift Pattern

Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 6am to 6pm

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday - 6am to 6pm | Wednesday, Thursday - 6pm to 6am

Week 3: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 6pm to 6am

Followed by 7 full days off

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance across manufacturing equipment, services, and utilities
• Reactive breakdown support to minimise downtime
• Contributing to continual improvement and lean manufacturing projects
• Ownership and development of specific production line maintenance
• Supporting site-wide engineering initiatives during a period of major investment

Experience / Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or higher in Engineering (or equivalent)
• Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship or relevant qualifications with proven manufacturing/industrial experience
• Strong experience maintaining multi‑axis (CNC) manufacturing machinery and extraction plants
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes within an FMCG environment
• Fault finding, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Experience with computerised maintenance management systems
• Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC, Pilz Safety PLC – highly desirable
• Experience in woodworking manufacturing plant and PUWER – desirable
