Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client on a permanent basis, based at Castle Donington in Derbyshire. You will diagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems to ensure reliability and safety across a national facilities management portfolio.

The role features a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri), an on-call rota, and a competitive salary up to £44,000 plus a generous pension and 25 days’ leave. Training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, as they will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

This is a site based opportunity, located in Castle Donington, Derbyshire.

Package

• Competitive salary up to £44,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
