Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is seeking a skilled Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join our national facilities management client in the Birmingham area. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems across multiple sites.

This mobile role covers Birmingham and surrounding areas; core hours are Monday to Friday, with optional on‑call out of hours. The position offers a competitive salary, 25 days of leave and opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician in commercial settings.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and circuitry.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
• Install, repair and maintain electrical components such as wiring, breakers and lighting.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols to create a secure working environment.

Mobile Maintenance Electrician - Birmingham - Global Facilities Management Organisation: Commercial Sector

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our national client on a permanent basis, who are a leading provider in facilities management solutions, delivering top-tier services across large commercial environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, as they will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

This is a mobile opportunity, covering Birmingham, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Peterborough and Bristol.

Package:

• Competitive salary of up to £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
• Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed)
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
