CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Mobile Maintenance Electrician in Manchester to service a national commercial client. You will diagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems across multiple sites, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role involves mobile work across the North West, Midlands, North Wales and Central Wales. A van, fuel card, and on-call rota are included along with 25 days of holiday and a pension. Core hours are Mon–Fri, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician in facilities management.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshoot faults and implement effective solutions.
• Install, repair, and maintain wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors for repairs and upgrades.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our national client on a permanent basis, who are a leading provider in facilities management solutions, delivering top-tier services across commercial environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, as they will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

This is a mobile opportunity, covering the North West, Midlands, North Wales & Central Wales.

Package:

• Competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

• Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
• Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment

Qualifications:

• Qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within the facilities management industry
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
