Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a site-based Maintenance Electrician to join our client in Castle Donington, Derbyshire. You will diagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems across a busy commercial facility to ensure safety and uptime.

The ideal candidate holds City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent, with proven experience in facilities management. Core hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours, with an out-of-hours on-call rota and a generous pension and holiday

Qualifications

• Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician in facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and circuitry.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure longevity of equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical components such as wiring, breakers and lighting.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel and contractors for repairs and upgrades.
• Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
