Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician for a permanent site-based role in Leeds. You will diagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable operation in a commercial setting.

The position offers a competitive salary (£42,000–£46,000 per annum) and core hours from Monday to Friday (40 hours). Benefits include 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and opportunities for training, development and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining electrical systems in commercial settings.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults safely.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure longevity of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment.

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client on a permanent basis, who are a leading provider in facilities management solutions, delivering top-tier services across FMCG/commercial industries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, as they will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

This is a site based opportunity, located in Leeds.

Package

• Competitive salary between £42,000 - £46,000 per annum (depending on experience)

• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
