Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is recruiting a site-based Maintenance Electrician for Castle Donington, Derbyshire. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems within a national facilities management context for commercial environments.

You will work a core 40-hour week (Mon-Fri) and participate in an on-call rota, with further opportunities for training, progression, and development. The position offers a competitive salary dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within the facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults and install, repair, and maintain electrical components including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment.

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client on a permanent basis, who are a leading provider in facilities management solutions, delivering top-tier services across the commercial industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, as they will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

This is a site based opportunity, located in Castle Donington, Derbyshire.

Package

• Competitive salary up to £44,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
• Participation in 'out of hours' on call rota
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
