Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client in Leeds on a permanent basis. The role involves diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems to ensure safety and reliability in a commercial setting.

Core hours are Monday to Friday (40 hours/week) with a salary between £42,000 and £46,000, 25 days leave plus bank holidays, a generous pension scheme, and opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience as a Maintenance Electrician in facilities management.
• Able to read electrical diagrams and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot faults and restore functionality.
• Install, repair, and maintain wiring, breakers, and lighting.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel and contractors for upgrades.
• Adhere to safety regulations to ensure a secure workplace.

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client on a permanent basis, who are a leading provider in facilities management solutions, delivering top-tier services across FMCG/commercial industries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, as they will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

This is a site based opportunity, located in Leeds.

• Competitive salary between £42,000 - £46,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly


• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment


• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality


• Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures


• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades


• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment

Qualifications

• Qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent


• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within the facilities management industry


• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry


• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults


• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations


• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
