Job summary

HVAC Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician for a mobile role across Hull, Doncaster and Leeds. You’ll manage a mix of planned and reactive maintenance in modern commercial facilities, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across the portfolio.
• Perform reactive maintenance and fault finding on lighting, power and sockets.
• Test emergency lighting and fire alarms; complete L8 compliance inspections.
• Fix faults in lighting, power circuits and sockets; carry out minor plumbing and fabric repairs.

Maintenance Electrician

Location: Hull, Doncaster & Leeds

Salary: Up to £40,000

Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:00am - 4:00pm (Flexible)

We're recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a leading Facilities Management provider, working across a prestigious distribution contract covering Hull, Doncaster and Leeds.

This Maintenance Electrician role offers a great mix of planned and reactive work, a self-managed diary and the opportunity to work across modern commercial facilities with excellent overtime opportunities.

The Role

As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance across the portfolio, including:

• Electrical PPMs and reactive maintenance
• Emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
• L8 compliance inspections
• Fault finding on lighting, power and socket circuits
• Minor plumbing and general fabric repairs
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Maintenance Electrician
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Previous experience within Facilities Management or Building Services
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
