Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client on a permanent basis. This mobile role covers Birmingham, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Peterborough and Bristol.

The successful candidate will diagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems in large commercial environments, ensuring safety and optimal operation. A City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation is required along with a UK driving licence and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation is required.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician in facilities management or similar.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Solid knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and circuitry.
• Ability to diagnose faults and implement effective repairs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and promptly resolve issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshoot faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
• Install, repair and maintain electrical components such as wiring, breakers and lighting.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.

Mobile Maintenance Electrician - Birmingham - Global Facilities Management Organisation: Commercial Sector

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our national client on a permanent basis, who are a leading provider in facilities management solutions, delivering top-tier services across large commercial environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, as they will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

This is a mobile opportunity, covering Birmingham, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Peterborough and Bristol.

Package

• Competitive salary of up to £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Van & fuel card supplied
• Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
• Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed)
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Responsibilities

• Full UK driving licence

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
