Job summary

Leonard Cheshire is looking for an enthusiastic maintenance supervisor to manage repairs, decor, and preventative schedules across our properties in Brampton, Huntington Cambridgeshire. You will lead ancillary staff, coordinate with contractors, and ensure COSHH and safety standards are met.

Full-time position at The Manor with responsibilities including PAT and fire alarm tests, driving if required, and a focus on keeping a warm, flexible, and positive environment for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a relevant trade (e.g., plumbing, carpentry) or similar maintenance role.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety, COSHH, and PAT testing.
  • Good communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
  • A full driving licence (if required by the service).
  • A warm, flexible, and positive approach.
  • A Level 3 or 4 qualification in a relevant skill is advantageous.

Your working hours: We offer full-time working hours, Monday to Friday.
