Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Network Engineer with z/OS expertise to join a growing team in the UK and across Europe. The role involves supporting a large-scale z/OS systems platform, configuring and maintaining host communication subsystems, and ensuring secure network connectivity.

The ideal candidate will have extensive z/OS networking experience, knowledge of IPsec/TLS, and the ability to work in a 24x7 support environment. Hybrid remote options are available across the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience administering file transmissions and mainframe networking.
• Knowledge of z/OS and related utilities.
• Understanding of z/OS networking services and security.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a multi-functional team, supporting IBM mainframe networks and transmissions products and infrastructure.
• Participation in support rota providing 24x7 cover.
• Perform TCPIP Port Reserves, VTAM updates, and Enterprise Extenders.
• Manage OSA Adapters in a complex mainframe environment.
• Perform VTAM PU/LU updates including EE.
• Implement AT-TLS rules and IPSEC policies.
• Trace, debug and analyze errors.
• Communicate with staff to ensure Network connectivity and security.
