Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a z/OS Systems Specialist to join a mainframe networking team. You will support a large-scale z/OS environment, ensuring network connectivity and security, including IPsec and TLS, with the possibility of some after-hours work.

You will participate in 24x7 support and collaborate across technical teams. Ideal candidates bring z/OS experience, knowledge of mainframe networking tools (NetMaster, Tubes, Supersession) and solid problem- solving skills, with readiness for tight

Qualifications

• Experience with z/OS and z/OS utilities.
• Understanding of z/OS networking services and related software.
• Knowledge of network security disciplines (IPSec, TLS/SSL, certificates).
• Experience in problem management from diagnosis to resolution.
• Understanding of Change Management processes.
• Ability to customize and manage secure SNA and TCP/IP networks under z/OS.
• Familiarity with mainframe network tools and multi-session managers.

Responsibilities

• Support IBM mainframe networks and transmissions products and infrastructure.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation.
• Perform TCPIP Port Reserves and VTAM updates.
• Manage OSA Adapters in a complex mainframe environment.
• Perform VTAM PU/LU updates including Enterprise Extenders.
• Implement AT-TLS rules and IPSEC policies.
• Trace, debug and perform error analysis.
• Communicate with technical, applications and operations staff regarding connectivity and security.
